Ken and Tan Sdn Bhd was established in August 1996, as a Boat Manufacturing Company with Mr. Tan Soo Yong as the Managing Director, who has 28 years in the Boat Building Industry, leading the Company for 13 years now.
Started with two (2) workers, Ken And Tan Sdn Bhd now has 35 experienced workers with Boat specialist, Mechanic, Technician, Welder, Boat Builder/Fabricator skilled and semi skilled workers.
After 12 years in operation, Ken And Tan has become the Local Market Leader (for Government, Private Sectors, and Publics/end user). In 2006, Ken And Tan has expanded the Business with a purchase of a BND 0.5 million New Factory at Lot 37, Salar Industrial Estate, Jln. Muara, and maintains the old factory at Kapok as a Showroom selling Outboard Motor, Trailer, Boat Canopy / T-top, Marine Accessories, Spare parts, Upholstery, Fishing equipments and etc.
Aside being the Local Market Leader, we also penetrated (exported) to International Market, like Malaysia, Australia and Jersey Channels Island and very soon to European Union countries, New Zealand and other countries.
